Five Simple Things (October 15)

Hello.

Here are five things this week.

1.   This Honeybee.

This poor, little honeybee was on a bag of yard rocks at Home Depot. Skylar went to pick the bag up and the honeybee stung him. Luckily for the both of them, the stinger didn't come out of the honeybee and the sting was mild. We picked her up and placed her on this rose bush near the area. I hope she made it home.

2. This Light.

We are loving the spot light we added to the school bell out front. It makes it look spooky and interesting at night.

3. This Kitty.

Such a great personality she has. Eleven is definitely meant to be in our family.

4. These Cabinets.

Like, what? I would love to have cabinets like this in my own home. Although, I wouldn't have them all filled with liquor, I can't help but think with the glass from the cabinets and the glass from the bottles, it really is pretty.

5. This Flight.

Space exploration is becoming more and more feasible for regular folks. Although, everyone taking fight has been a celebrity, or those able to afford the tickets right now, it won't be long before we are all either taking the flights, or know someone personally that has. Space has always been of interest to me and I love the fact that we are advancing at getting more people up there to see the world in a different light.

Did you catch the moon near Venus this week (10), or Jupiter and Saturn near the moon (14)?

Positive affirmations this week:

Take better control of your health all the way around. If the family you grew up in doesn't make healthy choices, that doesn't mean that you need to continue those unhealthy habits. Changing what you eat, how you take care of yourself, or even seeking mental health counseling doesn't make you weak, or that you don't love you family any less. It simply means that you are doing what's best for you and your body, your mind, and your life. If your family or relatives don't support those changes that are better for you, then don't depend on them for encouragement. Listen to your supporters, not your critics. You can do this!

Have a nice weekend.
