Road Trip to Gold Beach, Oregon (Day One and Two)

At the end of September, we took a little road trip to Gold Beach, Oregon to ride the Rogue Boats of Jerry's Rogue Jets, along the Rogue River.  the road trip was just what we needed to bring a close to the summer season here in Oregon.

Our first part of the road trip took us along the Pacific Coast Highway, which is one of the best places to travel, in my opinion.  We drove straight through to Gold Beach and we couldn't have asked for better weather.

Day one drive and beach trip around the Pacific Ocean.

After Seal Rock came North Bend.  It's such a quaint little town.

That bridge!  It's the town's eye-catcher.

We rolled into Gold Beach about 4:00 p.m.  The drive was such a nice drive and we couldn't have asked for better weather.  The tug boat in the picture above that sits in the Rogue River has a history.

It was such a great two days on the coast, and the weather was phenomenal!

Stay tuned for the rest of the our trip update.
