Tired of being tired?

Baz gets a much needed summer haircut

Hair monster!

He was one hairy, little doggy!

It started out very slow at first.

Then it came off with ease and he was good to go!

He says, "ahhhh, much better, thank you."

"I look like you now."

And, PITA wasn't having it.  "Twins?  No way man!"

Then the clean-up.  Booooo!  :)

Zombie Movie Filming (Phase 5-Final Scene)

This scene was the final two scenes for the zombies and the main zombies of the movie.  Here in the first scene the zombies attack a gang of motorcycle riders and then a car full of passengers trying to escape the carnage of the city, but are attacked in the process.

The attack on the biker gang took three or four long shots because of the angle the director was looking for.

He had the zombies attack several of the bike gang that way he got just the right one for the movie scene.

This scene took a few hours.

The zombies getting more instructions.  Who knew playing a zombie role was so overcritical and precise.  Ha!

A quick glimpse of what the bike gang attack scene looked like from the sidelines.

Skylar in the front of the main scene and waiting for his cue to attack the biker.  The guy said after the scene that someone really bit his back on accident, but he laughed about it so hopefully it didn't hurt him too bad.

Passengers of the car getting attacked.  This scene was gross because they have one girl get out of the car and lay on the ground with stocking filled with fake blood and noodles and the zombies ripped them out of her.  Yak!

The zombies gathered around after the last scene where one of the main characters gets attacked and taken down.

And she's down and it was a cut and a wrap.

And it's over.  The movie was shot all in one day with some days before and after used for green screen scenes.

The movie clapboard/scene marker.  The director ended up changing the name of the movie from "Contagious" to "Sick-n-Contagious" later on after the scenes were shot.

Zombie Movie Filming (Phase 4 zombies take over city and medical clinic)

This phase of the filming involved the zombies slowly finding their way out of the park and into the city.  Several attacks happen and slowly the make their way into the main part of the city limits and began creating chaos and havoc on the citizens.

The zombies moving as a herd into the city.

A quick scene of the zombies slowly making their way toward the city to take it over.

Once they get into the city they quickly take over the train yard and attack anyone and anything in their path.

Moving on through the city areas. And slowly make their way onto the other side of the train yard toward the medical clinic where people have gone seeking help.

Director Scott Smith calls cut in order to give instructions of how he wants the zombie pack to migrate toward the clinic and attack fellow citizens of Brownsville.

The main characters waiting for their cue to enter the scene and attempt to open the medical clinic's door.  Only to realize, they are very much locked up.

A poor kid trying to seek help gets attacked and eaten alive.

The main characters can not help him at this point and they move on.

The zombies spot them and begin giving chase.

And the scene is ended and cut.

Zombie Movie Role (Phase 3 zombie attack on each other)

This scene is toward the last part of the movie.  It's a scene where the dead people turn into zombies and start attacking each other in a state of confusion and delirium.  This scene was rather short and only lasted a few takes because of how great everyone did.

Patiently waiting for his scene entrance.

Director Scott Smith giving final instructions on what he would like to see from all the zombies, including Skylar.

Skylar is in the gray shirt right in the middle getting his arm "eaten."

A quick scene for what the background will be in this scene.  Lots of screaming and chaos.

The director yelled cut and then said only a few more takes were needed at this point.

His makeup looked really gross by this point.  He actually looked "undead."

He has the walk down I would say.

The scene ended and the director is giving instructions on the next location for the scene.  At this point he also called for lunch and everyone was pretty glad.  These poor zombies had been on their feet or on the ground for about 4 hours at this point.
