Tired of being tired?

12 days of Christmas pinspiration (day six)

Day Six:

Seed Bead Ornaments
from South North South

What you'll need:

1,000+ glass seed beads of different colors.
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Hemp Twine, or wire...00
Star design cut-out or plastic made ornament.

Using a plastic ornament design, or hot-gluing your own design freehand, start by using one straight line at a time.  Draw a line of hot glue along the ornament then top with seed beads in the color of your choice.  Keep working around the ornament until you complete the entire piece.  You want to work with one line at a time, so that the glue won't dry before you add the seed beads.  Allow the ornament to dry completely and dust off any loose seed beads.  Attach some twine and hang.

from:   Favethings via MPMK

What you'll need:

2 boxes of cornstarch
Can of foaming shaving cream
Box or plastic container
Sheet or tarp or even newspaper
Any random materials you have around your house

Add the contents to the container and mix to combine.  Now the kids, or even you, can smash and play just like if playing in real snow.  Of course, it won't be as cold, but it can be as fun!  You can make snowmen, igloos, and even small snowballs all in the comfort of a warm house.
